Body Positivity Meditation

Loving your entire body is a daunting task. I know that. When I was very young, a relative commented on my thighs. Although I was only a little girl, my conclusion was that there was something wrong with me because my thighs were a certain size. As a result, I felt shame over my legs and carried shame and embarrassment throughout my life. One key thing you can do to feel better in your body is to start appreciating it for what it allows you to do.

Fostering gratitude and appreciation for your body and what it can do, is a crucial step in healing your relationship with food and your body. Long-term studies support gratitude’s effectiveness, suggesting that an appreciative attitude contributes to work, health, and recovery success.
